Are we a match?
I created happy little biz to help solo practitioners in health and wellness build amazing small businesses.
Are you frustrated trying to build a website for your business? Feel like you just don’t have time, especially since you’ve got a million other things to do (and clients to see)?
Do you feel like your business is stuck in a rut? You can’t seem to attract great clients, and your appointment book is looking a little empty?
Are you interested in finding a way to promote your business that helps keep your appointment book as full as you want it to be?
Answered yes to the above? Sounds like we may be a match! ♥

Hey, I’m Candice, and I want to help you!
I’m a former massage therapist and long-time entrepreneur. These days I do web design for health and wellness businesses.
I learned a heck of a lot in my massage therapy days, and love sharing everything I can with others! I built up a steady, wonderful practice in one city, then moved to Toronto and had to do it all over again. Not one to back down from a challenge, I got to work and built up a steady stream of clients, but something was missing from the equation. I kinda felt like my business was running me, instead of me running my business. Have you ever felt that way?
So instead, I set my sights on the goal of having a clinical practice that fit my life, rather than forcing my life to fit my practice. I realized I needed to embrace the type of business I wanted to build, rather than doing what everyone else does. Yeah, it took some hard work and I wasn’t an overnight success, but I got there! And I promise, so can you.
But wait… where does the web design come in?
Great question! Yeah, they don’t teach much of that stuff in massage therapy school, do they?
I’ve actually been designing websites since the mid-90s and using WordPress (the software I use to build websites) since 2004. I’ve built many websites for myself and my friends over the years, and have been building them for clients since 2013. Don’t worry – I promise my modern websites don’t look like my 1998 ones. 😉 You can peek at some examples on my work with me page.
A well-designed website should be the cornerstone of your online presence. It should be easy for clients to find, simple to navigate and allow them to book in with you quickly. As well, the website should be a great reflection of who you are and what your business is all about. You aren’t only your designation or job description – you are an individual, and your online presence should represent that!
What am I like to work with?
My work style is informed by a variety of things. Yes, I spent many years in healthcare, both as a provider and as an assistant. I’m an athlete, and while I’m not going to be qualifying for the Olympics any time soon, I have seen many different people for fitness, wellness and healthcare services over the years, so I have a good grasp of what works, and what doesn’t, from a client’s perspective. I’ve also owned businesses in one form or another since 2006, and have gotten pretty good at thinking outside-the-box.
I also feel we need to continue to work on ourselves daily. I’ve had a meditation practice for 10 years now, and believe in the benefits of this type of work. I strongly believe that we need to take care of ourselves first before we try to take care of others, and that extends to our businesses.
Past clients have commented on my easy-going manner, patience and organization skills, as well as my relatability: since I’ve actually worked in health and wellness as a solo-practitioner, I understand the unique challenges you’re facing.
