As a health or wellness business owner, it can be really hard to know where to draw the line with doing all tasks yourself vs hiring someone to help you out. While at first, you may need to do your website, cleaning, bookkeeping, social media, and all other ‘behind the scenes’ business tasks on your own, as your practice grows you generally will find yourself lacking the time and energy to keep up with everything. That’s when you have to ask yourself if it’s time to hire some help.
You should also consider the fact that hiring someone else usually means you’re getting someone better at the task than you are. After all, you’re a massage therapist (or health coach or yoga teacher or whatever it is that you do). You’re not a web designer, social media consultant, bookkeeper or videographer. While you can certainly DIY things, you’re getting someone else’s expertise when you hire them.
In today’s podcast episode we’re talking about all that! It’s important to find the balance between doing it all yourself (and therefore keeping the cost really low) vs hiring someone and spending a little more. And in reality, there are benefits to having someone else do some tasks that you may not have realized!
