Learning to deal with curveballs as a massage therapist

You can always begin again.

No matter what has happened over the last year in your massage therapy practice (or other health business), you can still work towards goals and dreams. There is still room for growth and change.

But wait, you might ask… why are we talking about this now and not in January when everyone is talking about new year’s resolutions and setting goals?

I hear you! January is a great time to talk about these things. However, don’t forget: calendars are arbitrary.

You can make changes or start a new project or do a big refresh at any time of year. Spring or Fall, first of the month or a random Tuesday. Set goals and make plans to achieve them at any time, don’t just wait for the world to tell you it is time!

That said, there is one big thing that has affected us all, and that’s this pandemic.

Over the last year, your goals might have changed! We’ve been thrown a lot of curveballs and had a lot of our plans tossed out the window, with little we could do to stop it.

But that doesn’t have to mean abandoning our dreams for our business! It just might mean shifting them to different ones. So that’s what this podcast episode is all about.
